John Foxworth has over 20 years of professional music experience. He plays lead/rhythm, slide, synthesizer, Dobro, slide and acoustic guitar proficiently. Also he provides quality lead and backup vocals. He has performed on recordings for bands, he has been a member of, as well as providing session work for other artists. From an early age he wrote a song called "Rockin-Hard" that made the top 20 cut for inclunsion a local Record Contest for Release on a compiliation album. From a song he wrote called "City Boy" He and his band Arelia appeared in two music videos done for EMI Records England. Bands he has performed with have provided concerts throughout the southeastern United States. He plays all styles including Pop, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country, Top-40, Celtic, Funk, Slide, Classical, American Fingerstyle, and Alternative. Bands he has performed with have also served as warm-up acts for such major act as the  The COMMODORES , Grayson Warren Brown,and Lee Greenwood, and have been selected as the warmup act for the bands Third Day, Audio Adrenaline, and Big Tent Revival at the Youth Alive Concerts in Busch Gardens, Florida. John has played with bands that have headlined the The FairThe Cocoa Beach Art Festival, National JC's Convention at the Orlando Convention Center in Florida, Melbourne Civic Auditorium, NASA All American Picnic (Center Stage), South Eastern JC's convention in Fort Lauderdale, Viera Fest, Melbourne Street Fest, Cape Canaveral Sea Food Fest (Center Stage), and the Opening of the New The Cocoa Band Shell in Cocoa Florida. 

John has been in house bands  for larger clubs like Shooters Water Front Cafe, Coral Bay, where he and his band were filmed for a TV commercial, and Gatsby's Dockside, Molly's, Dockside in Cocoa Beach, Banana River Republic, Loyds at Cape Canaveral, Coconuts in Cocoa Beach, Mels Rock and Roll Heaven, Dino's Jazz and Supper club, Hotel California Rock and Roll Cantina, and the PAFB Officers club.  John has toured with the bands Topaz, The OfferingTM, Like It Or Not, MedusaTM, Loose Change, The Culprits, and the PresenceTM and has performed at larger venues throughout the southeastern United States.
 

Live/Studio Experience: 

April 2, May 2006-Present
John was joins the Roughouse (tm) band. Composed of some of the finest musicians in the Southeastern United States, they have attained quit a following!. With their killer music and projecting the attitude of fun, fun, and fun!  The band with recently featured in the Brevard Live band.

November 2005
Johns original blues project, John Robert Foxworth and the South Side Boogie Boys (tm) (JRF&SBB) (tm) is signed to Bobtail Records.  John is currently in the studio recording tracks for this album! Check it out here! 

October 7, 2003
John is drafted to be the guitarist for the mega pop band Imergence. On the cutting edge of pop this band will keep the audience moving. They are currently in the studio recording the album Powerplay. Check out updates here.

November 2005
Johns records the song Carol of the Bells for the Bobtail records Christmas hurricane relief album. Check it out his classical guitar work here and rock guitar here

January 1/1/00-1/2/2003 
TOPAZ (Jazz, Latin, Dance, and Top-Rock)
The best in Top40/Jazz/Rock/Latin/Swing/Disco - A 9 piece entertainment band that plays the best of today's and yesterday's dance, jazz, top-40, swing, and favorites.  This band composed of the areas best players for concerts, major act warm-up, larger clubs, corporate events, and weddings.  They have released recordings to local acclaim. They play jazz favorites such as Catching the Sun (Spyra Gyro), Casa del Sol (Richard Elliot), Giving it our best (Tom Scott), other Modern Jazz hits, and several Kenney G. songs.  They have opened for the The COMMODORES , headlined the The Cocoa Beach Art Festival, had Lee Greenwood open for them, headlined the National JC's Convention at the Orlando Convention Center in Florida, The Fair, Melbourne Civic Center, South Eastern JC's convention in Fort Lauderdale, Viera Fest, Palm Bay Fest, Melbourne Street Fest, and Cape Canaveral Sea Food Fest. Also, recently they were selected to open the new The Cocoa Band Shell. Topaz has been house band (and New Year's Head liners) for Shooters Water Front Cafe, NASA All American Picnic (Center Stage), and have headlined at larger clubs such as Dino's Supper and Jazz Club, Gatsby's Dockside, Coral Bay, Mollies, Dockside in Cocoa Beach,  Banna River Republic, Loyds at Cape Canveral, Coconuts, Mels Rock and Roll Heaven, PAFB NCO and Officers Club, and With 3-5 horn players, this band is the coolest ticket in town! John provides lead, rhythm, synthesizer, slide, and acoustic Guitar, and lead and backup vocals for Topaz.

August 22, May 2001
John was chosen as lead/rhythm guitarist for a concert by Christian super composer Grayson Warren Brown  concert. John was subsequently offered a tour with Warren through England and Scotland, but due to prior commitments had to decline. With no practice on only handed the sheet music just before the gig, John was playing up a storm! What a great concert, the SPIRIT was flowing!

1997 to 2000
The OfferingTM Original Christian Alternative Band
The Christian band ”The Offering"TM played at ministry events across the State of Florida.  The band recorded there debut CD and was subsequently chosen to warm up for Audio Adrenaline, Third Day, and Big Tent Revival at Busch Gardens, Florida. John penned a number of songs for the band and provided lead, rhythm, slide, and acoustic Guitar, and backup Vocals. The CD was recorded in several studios throughout Florida and Johns guitar stylings are featured throughout the CD. The producer asked "Are you really going to play through all those amps?" He did.

1995 to 1997
MEDUSATM Alternative Rock
Formed by the dynamic vocalist from Topaz, Brenda Everlin, this loud, in your face, alternative band soon rose to be one of the best local alternative bands! The band in the few months it was playing was elevated to the "A" play list by local area clubs.  Playing retro-rock, and modern songs by Sponge, Tool, Filter, and Collective Soul. John provided lead, rhythm,  slide, and acoustic Guitar, and lead and backup vocals.

1995
Good KnightTM Christian Rock
This Christian band formed under the direction of the former drummer of Truth, Bob Nickerson, played Christian originals with a youth ministry in mind.  The band plays several of John’s originals including “Glory to the King”, “Abrams song”, and “Captain of My Heart”. John provided lead, Rhythm,  slide, and acoustic Guitar, and backup Vocals.
