Troubled?
Sad? Feel Alone? Looking for the answers? Is it all too much? Broken relationship
after broken relationship? Can't find it in the world, money, sex, or drugs?
GOD
loves you and He will help you no matter where you are. Seek Him and you
will find He was already besides you!
Why
do we not choose to see Him or feel His Presence? Because He gives us our
own free will and will not impose Himself upon us. Like any Great Loving
Father. (Would you go over to your childs house and sit alone, even
if they didn't have time for you, or didn't want you there?)
Is
He near? Just listen to what the Palmist says:
Psalm
139:1-6 "O LORD, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit
down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away.You search
out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue, O LORD, you know it completely.
You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.Such knowledge
is too wonderful for me; it is so high that I cannot attain it"
Clearly
if we can't feel His Presence, and He is always near, then we
moved! How mush does he love you? With an "Unfail[ing]" Love. Again,
the Psalmist says:
Psalms
36:7 "How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men
find refuge in the shadow of your wings."
Wow!
An "Unfail[ing]" love. That is, love that "cannot or will not" fail!
Then why does it feel so bad inside? Why don't we feel this love.
For now we find He loves you with a Love that is greater than any mother
or father can give. Again, the Psalmist says:
Psalms
27:10 "Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me."
Isaiah
49:15 "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion
on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!"
According
to the Holy Quran, the love of GOD is expressed and emphasized many times
throughout the book:
God
loves: the charitable (2:195); the righteous (3:76); the steadfast (3:146);
the good doers (3:148); those who trust him (3:159); the benevolent (5:13);
those who purify themselves (9:108); the equitable (5:42); the just (49:9);
and those who are clean (2:222).
With
Love like this how could we not feel it or it not help us? Like any
Father and child relationship, finding GOD involves establishing
and maintaining a relationship. So clearly,
if we cannot feel this love and support, our part of the
relationship with Him is lacking. Relationships are built on (1) Communication,
(2) Respect, (3) Trust, and (4) Love.
