Love: Above all Love He who made you. Remember, for He who made you
all Love and yet more. What is Love?
1
Corinthains 13:8- 8:28 -"Love is patient;
love is kind. Love is not jealous, it does not put on airs, it is not snobbish.
Love is never rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not prone to anger; neither
does it brood over injuries. Love does not rejoice in what is wrong but
rejoices with the truth. There is no limit to love's forbearance, to its
trust, its hope, its power to endure. Love never fails. Prophecies will
cease, tongues will be silent, knowledge will pass away.
Romans
13:8 tells of our duty to love others-"Owe
no debt to anyone except the debt that binds us to love one another. He
who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. 'You shall not commit
adultery; you shall not murder; you shall not steal; you shall not covet,"
and any other commandment there may be are all summed up in this, "You
shall love your neighbor as youself." "Love never wrongs the neighbor,
hence love is the fulfillment of the law. "
Romans
8:28 tells again, of GOD's love for man-"Excellence
of the Gift of Love. No I will show you the way which surpasses all the
others. If I speak with juman tongues and angelic as well, but do not have
love, I am a noisy gong, a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of
prophecy and, with full knowledge, comprehend all myseries, if I have faith
great enough to move mountains, but have not love, I am noghing. If I give
eerything I have to feed the poor and hand over my body to be burned, but
have not love, I gain nothing"
Romans
8:28 tells of GOD's love for man- "We know
that GOD makes all things work together for the good of those who love
GOD and are called according to His decree."
So
Loving GOD and responding to GOD's Love by loving ourselves is the perfection
of the law! So by asking GOD through prayer for more love, one can love
GOD more and others.
